I’m a Vagina Warrior…according to Eve Ensler

I learned a new word today….”vagina warrior” after reading a brilliant interview with Eve Ensler in Common Ground Magazine which you should definitely go check out.   According to Ensler, “a vagina warrior is man or woman who has been through something difficult, painful, or violent and rather than perpetrating on another person or destroying themselves, the warrior reaches out to help transform someone else’s life”.   That’s definitely me!

Next week I’m being interviewed on Blog Talk Radio by Rachel Grant, another Warrior, who is a sexual abuse recovery coach and does amazing work in her “Beyond Surviving Program”.  You’ll have a chance to hear my own story of awakening and healing from sexual trauma and how I became a vagina warrior.

I will share information about how medical procedures, births, and premature penetration can cause sexual wounding and trauma that prevents women from experiencing pleasure.

In this show you will learn:

  • How physical wounding can cause sexual trauma
  • Why somatic holding prevents us from experiencing pleasure
  • Ways in which the body can re-learn pathways to pleasure
  • A process for sexual awakening and healing

This show is perfect for you if you have experienced trauma or abuse that is interfering with your sex life and ability to experience pleasure.  So join us on Monday October 14th at 6:00 PM for “From Agony to Ecstasy”:  A Journey of Sexual Healing and Awakening
